This document of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) focuses on the relationship between the legislature and the constituency. First of all, the focus goes to the importance of legislative-constituency relations and interaction. Secondly, key issues and challenges for legislatures in developing countries are examined. Thirdly, activities and structures to enhance legislative constituency relations are tackled.
