The comparative advantage for institutional and capacity strengthening of Parliaments to be involved in mediation/resolution of conflicts in the SADC region are explored, along with sharing experiences and lessons learned on peace building. The fundamental challenge is, how can Parliaments and Parliamentarians effectively contribute to regional peace and stability?
