12th IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

Reclaiming human rights, justice and dignity for all in turbulent times 

With human rights taking centre stage at the IPU as the priority theme for 2026, the 12th IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians will be focused on how young parliamentarians can play a crucial role in reclaiming rights, justice and dignity for all in today's turbulent times.

National parliaments are invited to send a delegation of up to four young parliamentarians (under 40 years of age) to participate in the Conference. Delegations should be gender-balanced and parliaments are encouraged to include their youngest members.

A cultural visit will take place on 6 September.
