Lorenzo Mancini works as Budget and Domestic Resource Mobilization Transparency Specialist with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), based in São Tomé and Príncipe. Working for nearly ten years with the UNDP, he advised governments on integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into national plans, financing frameworks and fiscal policies. He has led initiatives on the Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF), climate finance and tax reform, including coordinating the Tax Inspectors Without Borders and Tax for SDGs. Lorenzo coordinated research on multidimensional poverty, the informal economy and skills development, among others. He holds a Ph.D. in International Economics and Development. He speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
